We had a fabulous visit with the lovely Whaea Mere. She is very unwell and unable to be at school. We miss her sooo much but want her to get better.
We sang lots of waiata and surrounded her with lots of aroha..

Matariki at Richmond Road School
Ka mau te wehi!!..he rangi pai rawa atu!! A great day celebrating Matariki with Te Whanau Whariki and Te Whanau Pounamu..4 great workshops...and a tasty hangi for lunch!! Nga mihi
Top kids Matariki visit
On Tuesday Room 17 students went down to Top Kids Child Care Centre to help them celebrate Matariki with a kapahaka performance. We also taught them the Matariki macarena. They gave us a tasty healthy morning tea. Tino pai ano te wheako mo o matou tamariki.
