Our tamariki in rms 17 & 18 helped make hangi stuffing for a hangi being put on for Whaea Meres whanau this Friday afternoon.
We used bread, onions, mixed herbs and butter for our ingredients.
We broke up the bread in little pieces, diced the onions and added the mixed herbs and mixed them altogether. We added the melted butter and mixed it all up. It smelt wonderful!!
We put in in some muslin cloth reading for the hangi. Tino pai tenei wheako!!
We are a bilingual māori class at New Windsor School from Auckland, New Zealand. We learn, create and share around our school values be respectful, be responsible and be the best we can be. Ngā mihi o te wā!
